The motorized spindle is a high precision actuator, and the main factors affecting the rotational accuracy of the motorized spindle are as follows:
(1) Spindle error
It mainly includes the roundness error, coaxiality error (deflecting the axis of the spindle) and the perpendicularity error between the bearing surface and the axis of the spindle Journal (affecting the axial movement of the spindle). (2) Bearing error
Bearing errors include the roundness errors of inner bore or raceway of sliding bearing, waviness of inner bore or raceway of sliding bearing, shape and size errors of roller of rolling bearing, perpendicularity errors of bearing positioning end face and axis line, parallelism errors between bearing end faces, bearing clearance and force deformation in cutting, etc.
(3) Radial unequal stiffness and thermal deformation of spindle system
From the above, it can be seen that the main reasons affecting the rotational accuracy of motorized spindle are bearing wear, shaft and contact surface wear. In order to ensure that our motorized spindle can work normally under the condition of ensuring accuracy, we should try our best to reduce the wear rate of bearing related parts, and the main way to reduce wear is lubrication, lubrication treatment of bearings to ensure good lubrication and cooling effect. Therefore, choosing a reasonable and correct lubrication mode is an important condition to ensure the normal operation of the motorized spindle.
